FAQ

You often ask me a lot of questions and answering them again and again isn't much fun ^^' So I've created this section to put the most frequented questions in one place. I'll be adding more now and then. If you have a question and it's not here, feel free to ask me.

  • How long does it take you to draw/paint a picture?
It depends. Fully digitally painted pieces with detailed background may take me from three days to a week to finish, a simple pencil or marker drawing may take me an hour or two. Other images are something between :)
  • Do you take requests?
Sorry, I no more take requests as I used to take. You know, my time doesn't allow me to take them anymore. I might do a trade ocassionally, but oficially, I am not opened for art trades either.
  • Can you draw me a picture with wolves? (No more specified, just "wolves")
I take commissions now you know ;) But if you really want just a painting of wild animals with no specified character or something, you can just look into my gallery. I plan to paint more of wild animals pictures and you can buy prints. I just see no difference of a wolves painting painted "for you" or just painted.
  • How do you draw so well on computer? I try myself but I can't do it. Can you give me any tips?
Well... I don't really DRAW on computer; I used to draw on computer a long time ago, when I had no scanner or tablet. For drawing using a mouse is the best when you use the Bezier or Line Tool, as the free-hand tools are tough to control. Nowadays I draw everything on paper first and then I scan it. And if you ask about coloring, I've written the tutorials. I know they might not be the best tutorials around, they are more like step-by-step guides, but I hope they can approximate you the way I paint. Also, I feel that you often think that if you get a tablet or a good painting editor, you can make miracles. Oh yes, they can be helpful, but what you can do on computer most likely reflects your real painting/drawing skills with traditional media. So please do not expect a tablet will teach you how to draw.
  • You have such wonderful artwork, I really love it!
Oh, thank you! No, really, I mean it; I'm getting a lot of these praise e-mails from my fans and I really appreciate them! I'm glad you like my work and each and every message like this pleases me really. If I don't reply it's not because I don't like it, it's because I just don't know what to say ^^' If you ask me some specified question so I can answer you, I will.
  • I've read your tutorial for the "Furry method" in Adobe Photoshop. I tried myself, but I have a newer version than 4.0 and it looks like it doesn't allow me to smudge the images like that/make shapes using the line tool. Can you help me with that?
To tell you the truth, I started to hate this method somehow, so what I really can do is to recommend that you forget it and try something else. But if you REALLY want to try it, I can't really help you with the Photoshop problem, but you could try to alter the method a bit and find your own way to do it; The basic point of this "furry method" is to smudge everything with the Smudge tool, so you think about that.
  • I am a webmaster of *insert some website's name*, and I'd like to ask for your permission to use some of your fanart into my fanart gallery.
As long as the credit is given to me, it's allright :) I do not protect my fanart as much as other, original images so I almost always allow people to use my fanart for whatever they want. A link back to my website would be nice, too ;)
  • I love your Lion King/Pokémon/whatever fanart. Can you please draw *insert some character's name here* next?
I may, the chance is even bigger if the character is my favorite, too ;) Writing a note of which character you'd like to see me draw next into my guestbook won't kill anybody.
  • I love your artwork. Can you send me some images?
Is it really THAT hard for you just to search trough my website and download them on your own? -_-
  • Do you draw something else than wolves?!
Wolves are my main subject, but sure - felines, dragons, birds, invertebrates, animals of any kind.
  • Can you talk English?
Uhm. You bet. (And hey, I MEAN it! I copied the question, it was really written like this X-D)
  • I've just drawn a picture/written a story/a poem. Do you want me to send it to you?
Well, why not. I like people's original creations :) Just please don't get mad if I have no time for reading your hundred-of-pages long story ^^'
  • I love wolves, I'm 13 years old and I love to draw. E-mail me back!
I am sorry, but I won't e-mail you back just because you are who you are, without any pointed theme for conversation.
  • How old are you? Are you a boy or a girl?
My personal info can be found in the "About me" section here on my website, and I don't hide my info from you even on my Internet galleries (DeviantArt, SheezyArt). You go there and read it.
