im reading this really greaat manga called "Hana-Kimi: for you in full blossom" by Hisaya Nakajo. its really great! its about this girl named Mizuki who idolizes a high jumper in japan and poses as a guy just to go to the same school as him! it does sound.....strange, ^^;; but its really good! full of personality and sooo funny! your average gender-bending manga...pssh! >_< O.o :3

the 2008 presidential elections here in the U.S. are coming up in November. the two democrat candidates...well, lets just say that if they become president, America is doomed. literally. first up, is hillary clinton, a liberal nutbag lady..... >_< she\\\'s uses the term \\\"(wont let me write it...)\\\" which is a pretty way of saying COMMUNIST! if she become president, i have no future. :( she also wants to take away the good citizens right away to bear firearms. thats are second amendment for pete\\\'s sake!!!!!! the other is good \\\'ol barrack obama, a black muslim who wants to raise are taxes through the roof. he also hates war and says he\\\'ll bring our troops home from iraq which will translate to the terrorists, \\\"ha! they are weak nows are chance to bomb all the big cities and take over america!!!!!!!!!!\" are only chance are the two others, republicans, John Mcain and some other guy....i forgot his name.... ^^;

HA! you will absoluty LOVE OKAMI! i have it for ps2 and it RULES! ;) the graphics are amazing too. its all based on japanese wtercolor. it is THE BEST game i have ever played. (next to kingdom hearts, and thats saying something b/c i play a lot of games!) the main character is the japanese goddes Amaterasu reborn into the form of a white wolf. she uses her divine powers to banish evil, yadda ya. its GREAT! esp. for wolf lovers.

i have also seen some of Changer's artwork. its amazing! you guys are so talented!

I've heard about Kingdom Hearts recently when I saw some Lion King videos from the game on YouTube. Of course, I'd LOVE to play that game. But I don't have PS2 ^^;; Although the console is available here for us in The Czech Republic, I can't afford buying it, or maybe I am just not motivated enough to buy it just for playing one or two games (I was REALLY thinking of buying it because of Okami...!). Also, I have nausea from palying some of fast-moving 3D games, so I'd need to see the game first before buying. But it really seemed interesting, especially the second game with Lion King land included.

Now I am just waiting for Okami being released at Wii, because a friend of mine will be buying the console. I'll borrow it then and I'll play the game. I'm sure this one will be worthy.

Oh yes, the Kingfishers song/movie clip. It's a clip made for this song, Kingfishers, which I am not even sure is right to translate as Kingfishers, because the song itself has nothing to do with the birds (at least according the words by the song creator himself). But you know, I am a zoologist (with birds as main subject of research), and also a furry/anthro/animal artist, which kind of destined the way the song clip would look like. I'll try to explain what the song AND the movie is about, together with translating the song lyrics, so you can understand it a little bit more (I'll paste this to the page with the clip as well for future reference :)):

The movie clip goes with the lyrics quite well: Kingfishers meet the being, represented here by the stork. The stork gets hit by a car, the car has no driver, as it's a character itself (call it an anthro car, or the Daemon Babaj), and before the bird got killed, it tried to pickup a wrapping of an ice cream called "Ledňáček". Actually, kingfisher in Czech is named exactly like the icecream. Both words have base in "ice", and the word "ledňáček" in exact translation would be something like an "ice creature".

And the dog with "X"es as eyes is a dead dog, which you (and probably even most Czech people unless they are big fans of the music group) can't understand, comes from a very different song by the same artist. And that's it :)

A "scam"? LOL. Actually, I AM a scientist, and I learn a lot about environmental changes at school. I wouldn't call this a scam, although I am sure that it's not as hot as some people say. I know that there were many ice ages during history of the Earth, and I know that eventually there will be more because that's just how the clima works. In my oponion, global warming SHOULD be a problem for us, because it could cause the climate changes much sooner, which is something that we are afraid of. I think that I don't want to talk into detail here in my guestbook, but whoever would like to discuss this, or other scientifical/philosophical themes, you are welcome to e-mail or IM me.

I just personally think that there are more dangerous things awaiting mankind in the future, like a total collapse of civilisation due to fragility and cohesion of economy. But again, this is a theme for hours-long conversation, not for GuestBook entries X-D
